Our Foot Orthotic Service in Winchelsea
In depth biomechanical assessment
Understanding how your body is working (or not working!) is the first step to recovery. Our team will conduct a thorough assessment to get to the root cause of your problem.
Custom designed to your feet
We use the latest technology to make sure we get the most accurate mould using 3D scanning.
Multiple materials to choose from
Depending on the issue being addressed our Podiatrists can use a variety of materials. From soft foams, to 3D printed devices and even carbon fibre.
Treatment Process
Treatment 1
In your initial appointment, your Podiatrist will assess your body's overall movement to understand how your feet are affecting the rest of your body. If custom foot orthotics are indicated, a scan of your feet can be taken in the same appointment and a review booked for 2 weeks.
Treatment 2
Your orthotics will be checked to make sure they are performing as they should be. For this appointment, we ask that you bring in all the footwear that you are planning to use your orthotics in.
Treatment 3
We recommend a review appointment anywhere between 2–4 weeks to re-evaluate your new orthotics. In rare cases, a slight adjustment may be required to improve comfort or functionality of the orthotics.
